With 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Sharif Azim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Regional Executive and Senior Vice President at Allied World Insurance Company. He is serving as a TSLA Director for the 2024-2025 term.
Sharif is deeply passionate about TSLA’s mission and the vital work it does for the surplus lines insurance industry. “Surplus lines insurance is a diverse and complex field that is often misunderstood by the general public. TSLA plays a crucial role in advocating for legislation that supports our industry and benefits Texas insurance buyers. A healthy insurance market is essential to the success of our state.”
Outside of work, Sharif enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. His family also includes a standard poodle named Thumper and two aquariums housing over 20 fish.
